Microbiota ocular y diagnóstico de enfermedades sistémicas

Algunas enfermedades sistémicas, como la diabetes, la artritis reumatoide y la esclerosis múltiple, también pueden ocurrir a nivel de los ojos.

Las pruebas de microbiota ocular pueden ser útiles para identificar cualquier cambio en la microbiota ocular en estos pacientes y para evaluar si estos cambios pueden estar relacionados con enfermedades sistémicas.

Además, la prueba puede ayudar a identificar cualquier microorganismo patógeno asociado con enfermedades oculares y controlar la efectividad de la terapia.
