Ocular microbiota and personalized medicine
Personalized medicine involves the use of genetic, environmental and lifestyle information to develop personalized diagnosis, prevention and treatment strategies for patients.
Ocular microbiota testing can be used as part of a personalized medicine approach to assess the status of a patient's ocular microbiota and to identify the most effective microorganisms for therapy.
In addition, the test can help identify patients at risk for recurrent eye infections and take preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
